On Tuesday, July 20, 2010, James L. Sherlock, formerly of Bradford Woods. Beloved son of the late James L. and Catherine P. Sherlock. Father of Kerri Sherlock Talbot and husband Jonathan Talbot, of MD. Brother of Cathleen (Bob) Lancia, of Reserve Twp., Janice (Len) Lucas, of McCandless Twp., and the late Claire Dybiec. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Friends received Thursday 7-9 PM & Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Simons Funeral Home, Inc., 7720 Perry Hwy. where a blessing service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Contributions may be made to the Fallen Heroes Fund, Greater Pgh. Police Federal Credit Union, 1338 Chariers Ave., Pgh., PA 15220. Mr. Sherlock served as a Paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army. Later, he worked as a special agent for the Criminal Investigations Division of the IRS. He was an avid skier, runner, tennis player, and an outdoor enthusiast. The Sherlock family would like to thank North Hills Health & Rehabilitation, Pine Twp., and Dr. Dalbow for their many years of dedicated service and kindness.
